How to reach us
From Rome Fiumicino Airport (309 km from Amalfi) take a train to Stazione Termini and then another train (Eurostar) to Salerno. Check departure and arrival times on www.trenitalia.com. From Napoli-Capodichino Airport (70 km from Amalfi) there are two options:
– We can arrange for you a private transfer to our hotel (for more info info@aurora-hotel.it) – You can take ANM 3S bus or Alibus shuttle from Terminal 1 to Naples Central Railway Station. Then, you take a train to Salerno and a bus to Amalfi.
Salerno train station is only 25 km from Amalfi; Eurostar trains reach Salerno from North Italy and South Italy as well. From June to September you can reach Amalfi from Salerno by sea. Check departure and arrival times on www.alicost.it. The port is only 400 metres from the train station.
Other options:
– We can arrange for you a private transfer to our hotel (write for more info to info@aurora-hotel.it)
– You can take an Autolinee SITA bus from Salerno train station to Amalfi (up to Piazza Vittorio Veneto).
– Sea transfers operated by Travelmar from the harbour located in PIazza della Concordia.
From the north Take A3-Napoli-Salerno Highway up to Vietri sul Mare, then take SS 163 Amalfitana. During peak season, we suggest you take Castellammare di Stabia, then SS 366 for Agerola up to Amalfi.

Today in Amalfi we celebrate our Patron Saint! Andrew died as a martyr in Patrasso, Greece, crucified on an X cross (hence its name, St. Andrew's cross). His body was later taken to Costantinopoli and in 1206, during its occupation in the crusade, cardinal Pietro Capuano, from Amalfi, took the relics to his city, where they are kept in the Cathedral. So, Saint Andrew became the patron saint of Amalfi.
